Candidate privacy

Your information, handled the way it should be.

A plain-English summary of what we do with the details and CVs candidates share with us.

What we collect

When you join the specialist pool or contact us as a candidate, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, discipline and seniority, availability, and either a CV file or a link to your professional profile (e.g. LinkedIn).

We do not ask for your phone number or postal address, and we do not collect sensitive personal data through this form.

Why we use it

We use your information for one purpose: to represent you for relevant roles in regulated and high-growth industries. That means reviewing your background, discussing opportunities with you, and — only with your explicit say-so — introducing you to a specific employer.

Your CV is never sent to a client without your consent for that specific role.

Consent

You choose to share your information by ticking the consent box on the form. That box is never pre-ticked, and we record the moment you gave consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

How long we keep it

We retain candidate information for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which we delete it or ask you to re-confirm that you'd like to stay in the pool.

How it's stored

CV files are held in access-controlled storage, transmitted over encrypted connections, and visible only to the practitioners who represent candidates. We never post your CV to a public location.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely at any time. Email info@bektinconsulting.com and we'll action deletion requests promptly.
